Join the CILC Pinnacle Education Collaborative (PEC) for a day of exciting educational programming. All programs are FREE! Every hour from 9:00am EST to 3:00pm EST CILC Content Providers will be providing 30 minutes of programming followed by 15 minutes of Q & A time from the audience. Look below and register for either one track or all. You can join us for one event or all events and drop in and out throughout the day.

Program Name: Balto-A History of Humans, Huskies, and Health in Alaska
Grade Level: K-8
Description: Why is this famous husky from Alaska at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History? Hear heroic tales of dogs and mushers in Alaska, from the 1925 Serum Run to the Iditarod of today. You’ll learn how Balto became the "spokesdog" for this unique event in US history!

Description: Children explore the importance of their teeth and how differing types of teeth work based on their shape. Healthy dental behaviors are stressed teaching students their responsibility to care for their teeth. Children “practice” brushing teeth during the program to learn how to brush effectively.
